I was such a fool! I thought treks didn’t resume until Songkran was over on the 16th. I shouldn’t have asked the receptionist at my guesthouse. I should have asked one of the travel agencies. Lesson learned: get information from the source.
I booked a 3-day trek, starting tomorrow morning. I’ll be hiking through the jungle, riding an elephant, and white water rafting, among other things. It should be fun.
