We white water rafted today. The waters were calm, since it’s the dry season. We made the most of it though and had a great time.
The five of us returned to Chiang Mai and shared two rooms together. Olivier wanted more nature, smaller villages, and less tourism. Mac suggested he go to Pai.
Pai is a small mountain town of about 2000 people. It’s known for its relaxed atmosphere, small tribal villages, and lush mountainous greenery.
Olivier asked me if I wanted to join him. I said yes. I was going north anyway (on my way to Laos). We booked a minibus to leave the tomorrow morning.
