Halong Bay: Day 1

I went on a 2-day tour of Halong Bay, Vietnam’s greatest natural wonder. The bay is full of beautiful limestone rocks jutting out of the sea.

I was expecting it to be more adventurous–hiking through caves, kayaking for hours in the sea; but it was more romantic. Unfortunately, I did not have my significant other with me.

I chatted with a few other solo travelers who were on the tour with me. The conversations were okay, but I’ve had better.

We slept on the boat at night. I slept well, since the water was calm. All in all, it was a relaxing day.

rofl…I love the expression on your “So I did” picture…you look borderline insane. Also, I love the pictures of the caves, they look amazing.
